Muhurta for Shifting to a Rental

The home in the birth chart is the 4th house and its lord. A shift into a rented place is still that house's topic, plus the 12th if the move takes you away from the old city, and the 3rd if the journey is short. The mahadasha of the 4th lord is the period in which a move is chart-supported. A muhurta cannot create a 4th-lord period that has not arrived. It chooses an hour inside a decision you have already made.

A rental entry is usually given a simpler muhurta than the first entry into a newly built house, and it still wants a workable weekday, tithi, and nakshatra. The nakshatras commonly used for griha pravesh include Rohini, Mrigashira, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha, Uttara Bhadrapada, Anuradha, Chitra, Revati, and Swati. That set is the lunar part of the answer to when. Tuesday and Saturday are often avoided for a gentle entry because they belong to Mars and Saturn. Thursday and Friday are the softer weekdays, Jupiter and Venus.

If Saturn is transiting your 4th house, or the 4th lord's mahadasha is a fallen planet, a Rohini morning does not make the lease a 9th-house blessing. Use the muhurta to avoid a sharp nakshatra, Ardra, Ashlesha, Jyeshtha, or Mula, for the entry, and use the kundli to understand the cost. The Moon should not be combust or sitting in the 8th from the lagna if you are being strict, though a rental move is often judged more loosely than a wedding.

Pick the nakshatra from the set, in a benefics' weekday, in the city of the new door. Then look at the 4th lord's period before you call the shift lucky.
