Nadi Is a Group, and a Dosha Needs Two Moons
Every Moon belongs to one nadi, Adi, Madhya, or Antya, by a repeating pattern through the twenty-seven nakshatras. Nadi dosha appears only when another person's Moon falls in the same group. A single kundli does not contain the dosha, so it cannot be remedied alone.

The pattern
The groups run Adi, Madhya, Antya, then Antya, Madhya, Adi, and the cycle repeats. Ashwini is Adi. Bharani is Madhya. Krittika is Antya. Rohini is Antya again, Mrigashira Madhya, Ardra Adi. You can place your own Moon with a standard table. You cannot discover a dosha until a second star is on the page. Remedies sold to a person who has not brought a match are treating a category as a disease. The category is how matching works. It is not a wound in one horoscope.
Eight points, when the second Moon exists
Same nadi scores zero out of 8. The other kootas remain. A puja does not move your Moon into another star. Monday is the Moon's weekday and is the only graha-day that even addresses this koota. It is an observance, not a correction. Exceptions should be read from a matcher who will name them, not invented to comfort a family. After the score is accepted, both 7th houses are the marriage. They do not inherit the 8 lost points as a curse, and they do not ignore them.
If there is no match on the table
Read the Moon for what it is: mind, mother, dasha lord of its nakshatra, and the base of Sade Sati. Adi, Madhya, or Antya adds nothing to those jobs until a wedding is proposed. People who fast to clear nadi dosha without a partner are fasting against a comparison that has not happened. Spend the attention on the 7th lord instead. That lord's dasha is what will time a marriage, whether the future partner shares a nadi or not.
Frequently asked questions
Can one person have Nadi dosha?
No. Everyone has a nadi. The dosha is the same nadi in two charts, an 8-point zero in matching.
What is the order of the groups?
Adi, Madhya, Antya, Antya, Madhya, Adi, repeating. Ashwini starts on Adi. A table should confirm the star you were born under.
Does Monday remove it?
Monday belongs to the Moon, which is the right graha. It does not change either nakshatra. The 7th houses still have to be read.
