Nabhasa Yogas: Rajju, Musala, and Nala
Nabhasa yogas of the ashraya group look at all seven grahas from the Sun through Saturn. Rajju means every one of them is in a movable sign. Musala means every one is in a fixed sign. Nala means every one is in a dual sign.

Three patterns, seven planets
Movable signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Dual signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Rajju requires the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn all to sit in the movable set, in any of those four signs. Musala requires the fixed set. Nala requires the dual set. One Jupiter in the wrong quality breaks the yoga. That is why these are uncommon. Rahu and Ketu are not part of this seven. A chart can have a striking nodal axis and still have no ashraya yoga.
They are not house yogas
A raja yoga of the 9th and 10th lords can exist with no nabhasa pattern at all. Nabhasa describes the sky's distribution, a temperament of the whole chart: movement if Rajju, holding if Musala, mixture if Nala. The results in classical lists are broad, and they do not cancel the 7th lord or the dasha. A Musala chart still marries in the 7th lord's period and still works through the 10th lord. The pattern is the climate. The houses are the rooms.
Other nabhasa groups, briefly
Classical chapters also sort nabhasa by shape and by how many signs are occupied. Those lists are long, and the names differ in emphasis between Brihat Jataka and later books. The ashraya three are the ones you can test in a minute from the seven signs. If you find one, note it, then return to the mahadasha. Venus's 20 years in a Rajju chart are still Venus's houses, lived by a person whose planets all sit in movable signs. The yoga does not pick the decade. The Moon's nakshatra did that at birth.
Frequently asked questions
What is Rajju yoga?
All seven grahas from Sun through Saturn in movable signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn. One planet outside that set breaks it.
What are Musala and Nala?
Musala is all seven in fixed signs. Nala is all seven in dual signs. They are the other two ashraya nabhasa yogas.
Do nabhasa yogas replace the dasha?
No. They describe the distribution of the seven grahas. Marriage and career still follow the 7th lord, the 10th lord, and the period running.
