Saturn in the 7th Is Delay More Often Than Denial

Saturn in the 7th binds and slows the marriage house. If the 7th lord is in the 6th, 8th, or 12th as well, the indication is stricter. If Venus is combust or debilitated in Virgo, the karaka agrees with the difficulty. Even then the tradition overstates denial. Many such charts marry late, or marry someone older, or marry in a way the family did not script. The Navamsa is the check. A sound D9 7th lord under a heavy birth 7th is a hard start and a vow that can still exist. A damaged D9 7th lord is the stricter chart, and even that is not a decree.

If the 7th lord's mahadasha arrives after Saturn's pressure, that arrival is the window people called impossible. Venus's 20 years can be the window if Venus is not the damaged one. Saturn's own 19 years, when Saturn is the 7th lord for Cancer or Leo, can be both the delay and the eventual chapter. Calling it no marriage before that period has run is a prediction made too early. Jupiter's transit over the 7th inside the period is a trigger, not a substitute for the period.

It is not Mangal dosha, which is Mars in six specific houses and heats rather than only delays. It is not Nadi dosha, which is a Moon-star match between two people. A single chart cannot declare another person absent from your life. It can show a 7th house that answers slowly. Read Saturn's sign. Saturn exalted in Libra behaves differently from Saturn debilitated in Aries, even in the 7th. Dignity is part of the indication. The headline is not.
