Removing a Vastu Defect by Changing the Room

The northeast is Ishan, kept light. The southeast is Agni, the kitchen's direction. The southwest is heavy, the couple's room. When a function sits in the wrong corner, the dosha is that mismatch. Taking it away means moving the function or, if the building cannot change, stopping the worst use, such as a toilet in the northeast. A mantra, a yantra on the wall, or a painted symbol does not relocate a stove. Call the mantra worship if you like, a 9th-house act. Call the moved kitchen the Vastu remedy.

The 4th house is the home in the birth chart. Its lord in the 8th remains in the 8th after the kitchen moves. You may live more easily in a corrected room during a difficult 4th-lord dasha, and you have not changed the dasha. People who expect the mahadasha to end because the toilet was sealed are mixing two systems that share only the word dosha. Graha dosha is Mars in a manglik house, or Saturn with Rahu. Vastu dosha is a corner. Remedies do not cross.

Find the worst mismatch first: toilet or septic in the northeast, then kitchen in the northeast, then a missing or cut southwest, then the couple sleeping in the light corner. Fix what the building allows, in that order. Then, separately, read the 4th lord's antardasha so you know whether these years are home years at all. A fixed lagna at griha pravesh would have been the entry-hour version of the same wish: that the household stay. If that hour was movable, you cannot repeat the entry. You can still correct the rooms.
