Shrapit Dosha: Natal, Not a Transit

The natal conjunction sits in one house for life. Saturn mahadasha turns it on for 19 years, and Rahu mahadasha turns it on for 18, with the antardasha of the other as the overlap. Sade Sati is Saturn moving across the 12th, 1st, and 2nd from the Moon, whether or not Rahu is beside natal Saturn. A person can be frightened by the word shrapit during a Saturn antardasha that is only the transit. Ask for the birth chart. If Saturn and Rahu are in different signs, the popular dosha is not formed, and you are looking at ordinary Saturn.

In the 10th the pair colors work. In the 4th it colors home. Marriage is involved when the pair occupies the 7th, or when Saturn's aspect, the 3rd, 7th, or 10th from the pair, falls on the 7th. Ketu will oppose Rahu, so the opposite house is always part of the picture. The dispositor, the sign lord, carries both planets. Saturn-Rahu in a Venus sign needs Venus read with them. A curse story adds nothing the house count does not already say.

Saturday discipline is Saturn's conduct during the periods named above. It does not split the conjunction. It does not apply in a Venus mahadasha just because the word dosha is in the family. If both Saturn and Rahu dashas are finished, the natal pair remains and the loud chapters are in the past, unless a later antardasha of one of them returns inside another mahadasha. Check the queue. The remedy is the correct fear, aimed at the correct years.
