Rudraksha Rakhi on Shravana Purnima

Purnima is the tithi when the Moon stands opposite the Sun. Shravana is the lunar month. Together they fix Raksha Bandhan, a festival of brothers and sisters. In the kundli the 3rd house is siblings, courage, and short efforts. The 3rd lord's sign shows the condition of that house. A rakhi is a thread tied on that day. Adding a rudraksha bead to the thread brings in a second symbol, the seed traditionally linked to Rudra, without changing the 3rd lord.

Rudraksha faces are natural grooves. Five faces are the common bead, linked in remedial lists with Kalagni Rudra. Three faces are commonly linked with Agni and, by extension, with Mars. A rakhi does not become a Mars remedy, or a Jupiter remedy, because a bead was sewn on. If someone chooses a mukhi for a graha, the graha should be the one the chart is actually running: the mahadasha lord. Saturn's 19 years, Rahu's 18, and Jupiter's 16 are long enough that the bead and the period can at least refer to the same planet.

The festival Moon is a transit Moon at fullness. Sade Sati and the guna milan use the natal Moon, not this Purnima. A sibling's chart has its own 3rd house. Tying a thread is a family rite on a lunar day. It does not cast either kundli and it does not start an antardasha. If the relationship between siblings is the real question, read both 3rd houses and the dasha of each 3rd lord.
