Nakshatras, the 6th House, and the Limit of a Chart

The 1st house is the body. The 6th is the house of disease, enemies, and service. The 8th is longevity and chronic breakage. The Sun's strength, exalted in Mesha or debilitated in Tula, is the classical vitality test. Mars rules fever, cuts, and inflammation in karaka language, and still does not authorize a named diagnosis. A Moon in a particular nakshatra can show a sensitive mind or a gandanta knot. It cannot show a lab result. If a body is ill, the next step is a clinician. Jyotish can say whether the 6th lord's dasha is running. That is a timing clue for stress on that house, not a substitute for examination.

The Moon travels one nakshatra a day, so the stars became a mnemonic for everything, including body parts in samhita texts. Kalapurusha also maps the twelve houses from head to feet. Both maps are traditional. Using either map to tell a stranger which organ will fail is a misuse, and it depends on degrees this page will not invent. The responsible use of a nakshatra in a health conversation is narrow: identify the dasha lord, see whether that lord is the 6th lord or sits in the 6th, and notice the lagna lord's condition. Mercury's seventeen years may coincide with nervous overwork if Mercury is tied to the 6th. That sentence is as far as a public page should go.

The 6th lord's mahadasha or antardasha is when disputes, debts, and health themes are examined. The length of an antardasha is the product of the two lords' years divided by 120. A difficult antardasha can pass. A strong lagna lord can carry a person through a 6th-house period. None of this names a disease or a recovery date.
