Lakshmi Puja When Money Is Tight

Lakshmi puja is wealth worship, and the season of money trouble is the Vimshottari dasha already running, read through the 2nd and 11th houses. The 2nd is stored wealth, family resources, and speech. The 11th is gains and income. The 10th house and its lord show the career that is supposed to feed those houses. A tight year with a sound 11th lord usually means the career dasha is off, not that Lakshmi has left the building. Venus and Jupiter are the natural wealth karakas consulted beside the house lords. Venus fallen in Virgo, or Jupiter fallen in Capricorn, makes their help slower. It does not set a rupee figure, and this reading will not invent one.

Performing the puja during a dasha that has nothing to do with wealth, then expecting a windfall, confuses a religious calendar with a mahadasha. If debt is the real pain, the 6th house of debt has to be part of the sentence. Worship does not close a loan.

A home Lakshmi puja is a lamp, a clean shrine, and the prayer your family already knows. A priest's vidhi, if you invite one, is his text.
