Food Is the 2nd House; a Hair in the Meal Is Not a Yoga

Food is the 2nd house. A hair in a meal is a kitchen event, not a graha sitting in that house. The 2nd also covers family, speech, and stored money. Its lord's condition describes how feeding and saving go over a lifetime. It does not describe today's pot. Rahu is the graha of contamination, foreign matter, and disproportionate worry in traditional symbolism. That symbolism is why blogs connect a strand of hair to Rahu. The connection is allowable only when Rahu occupies the 2nd, joins the 2nd lord, or the 2nd lord is in Rahu's sign and that period is running. Otherwise the hair is a hair.
