A Planet Outside the Arc Is What Keeps Full Kaal Sarp from Forming

Nivaran, cancellation, is not a standard classical rule for this pattern. A planet outside the Rahu-Ketu semicircle is what keeps the full pattern from forming. Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, or Saturn, any one of them on the other side, is the breach. That planet's house is where the life is not piled onto the nodal arc. Calling a puja nivaran treats a ceremony as if it moved Jupiter. Jupiter's sign at birth is fixed. If Jupiter is inside the arc, it stays inside. Partial Kaal Sarp is a useful phrase only when you can name the planet that escaped. If you cannot name it, you may be looking at the full pattern and wishing for a cancellation.

A strong lagna lord is not nivaran. It is strength to carry the pattern. An exalted planet inside the arc is not nivaran. It is a dignified planet that happens to sit on the busy side. The end of Rahu mahadasha is not nivaran. The 18 years end and the geometry remains for Ketu's turn later. Marriage, a new job, or a child's birth is not nivaran. Those are houses doing their work, sometimes through the nodes. Collecting these events as proof the yoga is gone keeps the fear alive. Count the seven planets again. The count is the nivaran test. It does not involve a fee.

If all seven are on one side, say so plainly and read Rahu's house, Ketu's house, and Rahu's dispositor. That is the life of the yoga. There is no further cancellation hidden in a later text you must pay to hear. Viparita raja yoga and neecha bhanga are real cancellations for other conditions, with their own rules. They do not apply by analogy to an axis. Using the word nivaran for them in this context is a sales mix. Keep cancellation words attached to their yogas. For this one, the honest nivaran is a planet on the empty side. Absent that planet, live the two nodal houses.
