Monday Births Share the Moon as Vara Lord

Monday's vara lord is the Moon. Everyone born between one sunrise and the next on Monday shares that vara, and almost nothing else, because the lagna changes sign through the day. The weekday of Jyotish is not the midnight-to-midnight civil day. A birth at 1 a.m. can still belong to Sunday's vara if Sunday's sunrise has not been replaced.
