Reading a Child's Kundli from the Child's Own Lagna

A child's kundli uses the child's birth time for the lagna. The parent's 5th house describes children as a topic in the parent's life, and it is not the child's ascendant. Jupiter, the putrakaraka, shows the promise of children in the parent's chart. Once the child is born, that child has a Moon nakshatra and a Vimshottari sequence of their own. Mixing the two charts produces a lagna nobody was born with. Cast the child's chart from the city where the birth happened, because the zone offset is applied before the Julian day.

Start with the child's lagna lord and the Moon. The lagna lord is the body and the early constitution of the life.
