Debilitation in Navamsa versus Debilitation in the Rashi

Navamsa is the varga used for the marriage fruit and for the deeper dignity of a graha. A Jupiter exalted in Karka in the rashi and fallen in Makara in D9 promises a strong public Jupiter whose marriage-varga and inner fruit are weaker. A Jupiter fallen in the rashi and exalted in D9 is the reverse: a rough delivery with a better varga. You do not cancel the rashi fall because D9 is kind, and you do not panic at a D9 fall when the rashi is dignified and the dasha is supportive. Say both dignities. Paid charts that include extra vargas are useless if the birth time is wrong, because D9 shifts on a small clock error. Whole-sign rashi placements survive longer.

The fall signs stay the same list inside the varga. There is no special 'Navamsa debilitation' in a mysterious extra sign. Rahu and Ketu still have no Parashari fall on that list. A node in D9 is read by the sign lord of that D9 sign, not by an invented neecha. If Mercury is in Meena in D9, Mercury is debilitated in the varga and Venus, ruler of the exaltation opposite, is the exaltation lord you would check for cancellation ideas. Neecha bhanga is primarily a rashi doctrine. Applying it mechanically inside D9 is a school choice. Say so if you do it. Do not pretend the classical clauses were written as a D9 worksheet.

Because D9 is the spouse varga, Venus or the 7th lord debilitated there strains the marriage fruit even when the rashi 7th looks fine. The 7th sign of D9 matters as a house of that varga. A career question still belongs mainly to the rashi 10th, with D9 as the fruit of the 10th lord, not as a second career chart that overrules the lagna. Remedies do not move a graha from Makara to Karka inside D9. If the time is uncertain, admit that the varga debilitation is uncertain too. The rashi debilitation, if the sign is clearly Makara, is the sturdier fact.
