Spirituality in a horoscope is the 9th house, dharma, the teacher, and pilgrimage, together with the 12th, moksha, loss of claim, and the ashram or the foreign shore. Jupiter signifies the teacher. Ketu signifies detachment. That pair of houses would be wrong for a career question, which stays in the 10th even when the work is in a temple. A strong 9th lord can show a person who seeks a lineage. A strong 12th lord can show a person who spends, travels, or renounces. Ketu in the 12th is a classical combination people watch for release. Ketu in the 9th can show an unusual teacher or a break with inherited belief. Neither placement makes someone holy. The lagna lord still has to live an ordinary life. A 9th house full of malefics can show friction with gurus rather than a gift of vision.
