The Gomti Chakra and the Money Houses

A Gomti chakra is a small river shell kept for Lakshmi, and the money period people hope it will cover is the Vimshottari dasha already running. The shells are associated with the Gomti river and with household Lakshmi worship, often placed in a cash box or beside the shrine after a simple wash. That is a custom. It is not one of the nine grahas, and it has no sign, no exaltation, and no mahadasha. Any page that assigns a rupee result to a count of shells is inventing a rate the chart does not contain. Keep one if your family already keeps one. Do not build a plan for debt around it.

Stored money is the 2nd house. Income is the 11th. The career that feeds both is the 10th house and its lord. Venus and Jupiter are the karakas consulted beside those lords. A hard Venus dasha, Venus being fallen in Virgo, or the 11th lord sitting in the 12th house of expense, will describe a thin period whether or not a shell is in the drawer. Debt is the 6th house. If the pain is a loan, open the 6th lord's dasha before you open a catalog of charms. Friday remains a fit day for Lakshmi worship, with or without the shell, because Friday belongs to Venus. Washing the shell on Friday is a domestic rhythm. It does not change the 11th lord's sign.

Rinse the shell in clean water, set it on a clean cloth in the shrine or with the household accounts, and light the lamp you already light. There is no additional vidhi here, because a precise commercial ritual would be a script this tradition does not need from a website. If a priest has a family method, use that. Do not wear the shell as if it were a gemstone. Gemstones follow a named planet: diamond for Venus only after the chart names Venus, yellow sapphire for Jupiter only after the chart names Jupiter. The shell never enters that test. When the dasha shifts from a pressured 11th lord to a supportive one, the money chapter shifts. The shell will still be a shell.
