The 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 11th are the upachayas, the houses that can grow with effort. The 3rd grows skill, the 6th grows contest and also debt, the 10th grows a public role that may be unstable, and the 11th grows income. Rahu in the 11th puts the amplifier on the paycheck and the crowd. Ketu then falls in the 5th, detaching speculation and, sometimes, pride of intellect, while income runs hot.
