When Rahu Acts Harshly and When It Helps

Jupiter and Venus are natural benefics. The Moon is benefic when waxing and well associated, and Mercury is benefic when unafflicted. Rahu is not in that set. What Rahu does well is inflate. Inflation in the 11th can be income and a wide network. Inflation in the 6th can be victory over rivals and also debt, because the 6th is both an upachaya and a dusthana. Inflation in the 3rd can be skill and nerve. Inflation in the 10th can be a public role that looks larger than the institution under it.
