Rahu and Mars Conjunction: Angarak Yoga

Angarak is a conjunction, so the bhava decides the topic. Mars is the karaka of conflict, cutting, land, and siblings. Rahu owns no rashi on the standard lordship list, so it borrows the dispositor and magnifies that agenda. In an upachaya (the 3rd, 6th, 10th, or 11th) the pair is commonly turned toward competition, tools, surgery, or a contest the person can use. In the 7th the same pair sits on marriage. In the 8th it sits on rupture and shared resources. The graha ruling the sign is the third voice in the yoga.

Mars in its own signs, Mesha or Vrishchika, or exalted in Makara, keeps a strong commander while Rahu magnifies it. Mars debilitated in Karka is a weaker Mars with a loud node. Neecha bhanga, if it applies, depends on kendra placement of Mars or of its dispositor, not on Rahu's presence. The Vimshottari periods that wake the yoga are Rahu's 18 years, Mars's 7 years, and the dasha of the sign lord. Outside those periods the conjunction is a natal capacity, not the theme of the current year.

Angarak is not a criminal verdict and not a diagnosis. The same conjunction can describe a surgeon, a machinist, a soldier, or a person who meets disputes, according to the house and according to whether Jupiter aspects the pair. A gem or a weekday vow does not shift Mars into another bhava. The chart work is the house, the dispositor, and the dasha already running.
