Budha-Aditya Yoga

The yoga is the conjunction itself: Mercury and the Sun sharing a rashi. Classical praise links it with intelligence, skill with words, and administrative ability, especially if the pair helps the tenth house of career or the second of wealth and speech. Mercury is never far from the Sun in the sky, so the conjunction is common. That frequency is why combustion must be checked. When Mercury is too close, it is asta, burned, and the yoga's praise is thinner. This page does not invent the orb in degrees. The chart's software can show separation. The principle is enough: conjunction is not automatically strength.

In the first house of the self the pair makes the person visibly Mercurial and solar. In the twelfth of loss and foreign residence the same yoga can describe skill used abroad or a mind that spends itself in private. In the sixth of conflict and debt it can describe arguments that are clever and exhausting. The sign lord disposits both. If that lord is strong, the yoga has a sponsor. If the lord is fallen without neechabhanga, the conjunction inherits the fall. Lahiri signs decide whether they even share a rashi. Tropical Mercury is often one sign off.

The Sun mahadasha lasts 6 years. Mercury's lasts 17. The Sun-Mercury and Mercury-Sun antardashas are the tightest tests. Outside them the yoga is natal and quieter. It matters when you need intellect or office skill and the house agrees. It does not matter as a lucky sticker. No transit date is attached. The yoga is in the birth chart or it is not.
