Rama's Portrait and a Cast Chart

Devotional literature describes Rama's birth with astronomical poetry. Later jyotish retellings sometimes turn that poetry into a lagna. Those reconstructions disagree, and none of them is a Swiss Ephemeris chart from a civil timestamp. The ninth house is dharma, and Rama is remembered as dharma itself. That is a theological statement. It does not yield a first house of the self that a software can regenerate. This page prints no degrees, no nakshatra balance, and no yoga as if it were calculated.

A sacred biography invites the same questions as any life: the tenth house of a public role, the seventh of marriage, the fourth of home and exile. Exile, in chart language, touches the twelfth house of loss and foreign residence. Applying those words to the Ramayana is commentary. It is not a kundli you can upload. The Moon's nakshatra would be required for Vimshottari. A mahadasha cannot be run on a hymn.

You can revere the narrative and still refuse a fake Lahiri chart. If you want a real kundli, it will be of a person with a birth city and a clock, cast under the Lahiri ayanamsa. Jyothish SI does that ordinary job. It does not cast gods. The portrait remains a portrait. The ephemeris remains a table of positions for recorded times.
