A Strong Mars

Mars is exalted in Capricorn and debilitated in Cancer. It owns Aries and Scorpio. Strength here means the graha can act: the third house of courage, the sixth of conflict and debt when a fight is required, and land, since Mars is the karaka of land under the fourth house of home. A strong Mars in the tenth house of career can carry uniformed or technical work. The same strength in the seventh house of marriage can scorch a bond even while it wins outside. Benefit is house-specific. Own sign is not a moral license.

For lagnas where Mars rules the seventh and the second, it is a maraka lord, and raw strength is not automatically a gift. Mangal dosha is a separate test: Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th. A strong Mars can still be a Mangal Mars. Do not let the word benefit erase the seventh house. The eighth is longevity. Strength there is not a health certificate and not a death yoga. It is a strong graha in the longevity house, to be read, not advertised.

Mars mahadasha lasts 7 years. The benefits people mean, land, courage, a decisive job, show up then if the natal Mars is dignified and the house is helpful. A weak Mars in those years spends the same topics badly. Lahiri Capricorn is the exaltation. Tropical Capricorn may be sidereal Sagittarius, where Mars is not exalted. The benefit must be calculated in the sidereal chart.
