Ruby Benefits When the Chart Names the Sun

Ruby is the gemstone of the Sun, and it is worn only after the chart names the Sun. The Sun is exalted in Aries, at home in Leo, and debilitated in Libra. Ruby does not repair the fall by itself. It is a way of backing a Sun the chart has already decided to support: the lagna lord for a Leo ascendant, the 10th lord when Leo falls in the 10th, or the dasha lord when the Vimshottari period already running is the Sun's. A Cancer lagna gives the Sun the 2nd house of family and speech. A Virgo lagna gives the Sun the 12th house of loss and foreign residence. The same red stone is asked to do opposite jobs. That is why a birthday table that prints ruby for Leo cannot be the method.
