Bathroom Vastu and the Fourth House

The fourth house is home. Vastu is a directional reading of that home, not a thirteenth bhava. Common teaching keeps the northeast clean, light, and free of a toilet, and prefers the toilet away from that corner, often toward the west or northwest. Exact room-by-room rules vary by teacher. Renovation is a cost. Read whether the fourth lord's period can carry a repair before you start one.

The seventh house is marriage. A bathroom does not create Mangal dosha, and Mangal dosha does not locate a toilet. Families mix these vocabularies when every problem is called a dosha. The twelfth house is loss and foreign residence, sometimes used loosely for expenditure on a house. Expenditure is not a ghost in the plumbing.
