Sun, Moon, and the Rising Sign

The lagna is the first house of the self and the body people meet. It changes about every two hours, and daylight saving can push it into the next sign. The Moon is the mind and changes sign about every two and a half days. The Sun is vitality and authority and stays in a sign about a month in the sidereal zodiac. The lagna lord colors the first house and also rules some other house, which is why rising signs differ by more than personality.
