Five Doshas, Each with a Definition
Five names get sold as one emergency. Mars in six houses, a shared nadi, a Moon-sign geometry, planets hemmed by the nodes, and a junction Moon are five different sentences.

Five definitions, not one fright
The doshas people call terrifying each have a definition on a Lahiri chart, and a marriage dosha is checked again in the 7th house and the D9 Navamsa. Mangal dosha is Mars in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th from the lagna, repeated from the Moon. It is heat and a separation theme, cancelled in the first pass if Mars is in its own sign or exalted in Capricorn. Nadi dosha is the two Moons in the same Adi, Madhya, or Antya group, zero of the eight Nadi points. Bhakoot dosha is a zero on the seven-point Moon-sign comparison, classically when the signs sit 2 and 12, 6 and 8, or 5 and 9, with same-lord exceptions in some manuals. Kala Sarpa, in the common definition, is the seven planets lying to one side of the Rahu-Ketu axis. Gandmool is the Moon in a junction nakshatra: Ashwini, Ashlesha, Magha, Jyeshtha, Moola, or Revati. None of these is a personality.
Removal is the wrong verb
Mars does not leave the 7th because a puja was paid for. The Moon does not change nadi. A shanti rite is a family response after the definition is confirmed, not an eraser. Kala Sarpa is the one most inflated: partial versions, one planet outside the axis, are disputed, and the effects claimed for it range far past what a nodal axis can prove. Read the houses Rahu and Ketu occupy and the dasha, and drop the adjective. Gandmool does not block the 7th by itself. A junction Moon can marry. The Vimshottari dasha, which that same Moon's nakshatra started, is the timer for whatever the dosha is supposed to be doing this year. If the dasha lord has nothing to do with Mars, the nodes, or the Moon, the terror is out of season.
What a remedy may be
For Mangal, judge cancellation and the partner's Mars before any coral. Coral follows Mars only if the chart names Mars as a planet to support, which a loud 7th-house Mars often is not. For Nadi and Bhakoot, the remedy that is actually a reading is to open both D9 charts and see whether the marriage exists apart from the score. For Kala Sarpa, no stone of Rahu or Ketu is automatic. Hessonite and cat's eye wait for a named node. For Gandmool, infant shanti customs exist and do not move the Moon. There is no set of five effective removals, because the five conditions are not stains of one substance. Write the definition you were given, test it, read the 7th if marriage was the topic, and refuse any product that needs you to stay frightened.
Frequently asked questions
Are these the only doshas?
They are the five most often packaged together. Pitra readings of the 9th house, and other named conditions, are separate and should be defined before they are feared.
Does one dosha cancel the marriage?
Only the 7th house, its lord, and the D9 can say that. A single dosha is a factor. It is not the verdict.
Should all five be remedied together?
No. Most charts have one of them, or none. Treating all five is how every graha gets a product.
