Vijayawada · India
Vedic astrology in Vijayawada, also written Bezawada
Bezawada is the older form of Vijayawada, and vedic astrology follows that city on Indian Standard Time rather than a city chosen after a move. The zone is Asia/Kolkata, with no daylight saving. A grandparent's paper and a modern form should not produce two births. Hold the clock time still, geocode the one city, and apply UTC plus 5 hours 30 minutes before the Julian day. The new country comes later, if it comes at all.

Older paper, same river city
Enter Vijayawada when you need the current name, and do not 'modernize' the hour along with the spelling. If a Bezawada test geocodes oddly, trust the certificate's name and the same time rather than editing minutes. Hyderabad is a different city, west of the Mirzapur meridian, with solar noon after 12:00. That is not Vijayawada's chart and not a statewide Andhra setting.
The move selects a fashionable city
After emigration, forms are filled with a city an airport clerk would recognize, or with the city of residence. Both geocode away from the birth. Residence abroad may also observe daylight saving, so summer and winter offsets disagree there. Vijayawada never had that split. Type the IST time from the paper.
Marriage data stays with the birth
The 7th house, its lord, and D9 Navamsa are read from the birth chart, not from the city where a wedding was later held. Timing uses the Vimshottari dasha already running. The calculation is sidereal, Lahiri ayanamsa, Swiss Ephemeris. A free account can generate the Kundli and chat once Vijayawada and the hour agree with the record.

Frequently asked questions
Does vedic astrology see Bezawada and Vijayawada as two clocks?
No. They are two names for one city on Asia/Kolkata, with no daylight saving. Keep the birth time the same if you compare spellings.
Can we use Hyderabad because the family says Andhra or Telangana loosely?
No. Hyderabad is west of the Mirzapur meridian and is a different place. Enter Vijayawada when that is the birth city, at Indian Standard Time.
Do paid alerts fix a wrong city?
No. WhatsApp transit alerts, a PDF, and extra divisional charts are paid features. They assume the birth city and time are already right.
