Vedic astrology for a Perth birth on a clock that does not shift
Vedic astrology for a Perth birth uses no daylight saving, and this western city does not follow the seasonal clock change on the east coast. Perth does not move its clocks for daylight saving, unlike Sydney and Melbourne, and it is not on Australia/Adelaide. Skipping daylight saving is not the same claim as sharing Brisbane's offset. Perth is simply not a daylight saving city. Locate Perth, and apply its unmoving offset in minutes before the Julian day.

West coast, no seasonal jump
A January birth in Perth and a July birth in Perth use the same civil offset. That is the point of a city that does not observe daylight saving. Sydney and Melbourne do change offset between those months. If a Perth birth is given their summer shift, the lagna can move. Lahiri ayanamsa and Swiss Ephemeris will calculate whatever instant you give them, including a wrong one.
Do not borrow Adelaide to split the difference
Australia/Adelaide is half an hour off the east coast and does observe daylight saving. Perth is not that zone. Marriage is read from the 7th house, its lord, and D9 Navamsa. Career is read from the 10th house and its lord. The Vimshottari dasha already running times them. No dasha year is invented for Perth.

Frequently asked questions
Does vedic astrology in Perth observe daylight saving?
No. Perth does not move its clocks for daylight saving, unlike Sydney and Melbourne. The offset stays in place through the summer, and it is applied in minutes before the Julian day.
Is Perth on Brisbane's clock just because both skip daylight saving?
Both skip daylight saving. That does not make them one zone. Perth is the western city, Brisbane is not, and neither birth is timed on Australia/Adelaide.
What does a free Perth Kundli include?
A Kundli and a chat with the AI astrologer. PDF reports, extra divisional charts, and WhatsApp transit alerts are paid. Do not add a daylight saving shift that Perth does not use.
