Vedic astrology in Hyderabad, west of the time meridian
If the slip says Secunderabad, that is not a reason to substitute Hyderabad when you ask for vedic astrology. The twin cities share Indian Standard Time and the absence of daylight saving. They are not the same string for a geocoder. When the birth really was in Hyderabad, the city is west of the meridian near Mirzapur, and solar noon falls after 12:00. The offset is UTC plus 5 hours 30 minutes.

Secunderabad is a different place name
Families use the names interchangeably because the urban area is one. The chart cannot. Type the name the hospital used. Asia/Kolkata covers both, so you will not fix a wrong city by changing the time zone. You fix it by changing the place. A foreign city typed after a move is a larger error still, because the offset changes as well as the place.
The Sun is late relative to the clock
At 12:00 in Hyderabad the Sun has not yet reached the local meridian. That is what west of Mirzapur means on this clock. Do not subtract minutes until noon looks right. No minute count is published here, and none should be invented at the keyboard. Sidereal positions use the Lahiri ayanamsa and the Swiss Ephemeris.
Career questions on the 10th
Work is read from the 10th house and its lord. A job change is timed by the Vimshottari dasha already running, together with transits if you are watching them. Marriage stays on the 7th, its lord, and D9, even when the question that brought you in was professional. Free accounts get the Kundli and a chat. Paid plans add the PDF, more divisional charts, and WhatsApp transit alerts.

Frequently asked questions
Does Hyderabad observe daylight saving for vedic astrology?
No. The zone is Asia/Kolkata all year. A summer birth uses the same offset as a winter birth. Solar noon falls after 12:00 because the city is west of the Mirzapur meridian.
Our certificate says Secunderabad. Will Hyderabad do?
Use Secunderabad if that is the recorded place. Hyderabad is the right city only when the record says so. Both are Indian Standard Time, but the geocoded place is not interchangeable by habit.
How is marriage read once the city is correct?
From the 7th house, its lord, and the D9 Navamsa. The city does not add a separate marriage rule. It fixes the birth moment the houses are built from.
