Dallas vedic astrology when the spring clock skips an hour
Dallas vedic astrology sets the clock to America/Chicago, Central time with daylight saving, for a birth inside Dallas itself. Fort Worth shares the zone and still fails as a substitute, because the chart geocodes the city you name, and the spring change skips the 2 a.m. hour on the Dallas clock.

The hour that is not on the clock
On the spring-forward night there is no 2:30 a.m. in Dallas. The record should show a time at 3 a.m. or later, or a time before the jump. Inventing the skipped hour invents a lagna. In the fall the opposite happens, and an hour occurs twice. If the birth was in that repeated hour, the note should say which occurrence, because they are an hour apart.
A period computed from the birth
The running Vimshottari dasha times a job change or a marriage. It comes from the birth, not from a year someone assigns to Dallas. This page will not name a year. After the Kundli exists you can ask which period is active. The Central offset has to be settled first or the period is answering a different instant.

jyothish.si will generate the Kundli and host a chat on a free account. A report you download is separate. So are further divisional charts and WhatsApp messages about transits. None of those repair a city typed as Fort Worth when the birth was in Dallas.

Frequently asked questions
Will Fort Worth do if the birth was in Dallas?
No. The zone matches, America/Chicago with daylight saving. The geocoded city does not. Use Dallas.
What happens at 2 a.m. on the spring-forward night?
That hour is skipped. Do not enter a clock time that never occurred. Use the time the clock actually showed.
What sits behind the free chart?
A PDF report, extra divisional charts, and WhatsApp transit alerts are paid. The Kundli and chat can be used free.
