Vedic astrology for a Belfast birth on British Summer Time
Vedic astrology for a Belfast birth is timed on Europe/London with British Summer Time, not on Europe/Dublin. Belfast keeps the British clock even though the city is in Northern Ireland, so a summer birth uses British Summer Time. The short distance to Dublin does not rename the zone. Locate Belfast, apply the Europe/London offset in minutes, and only then form the Julian day.

Northern Ireland keeps the British zone name
Europe/Dublin belongs to a different zone entry. Belfast does not borrow it for a birth chart. In summer the rule to apply is British Summer Time. In winter it is the winter offset of Europe/London. Using the Dublin name because the cities share an island would file the birth under the wrong zone, which is exactly how a lagna goes astray.
Sidereal positions after the British offset
Lahiri ayanamsa and Swiss Ephemeris set the sidereal chart from the Belfast instant. Marriage is the 7th house, its lord, and D9 Navamsa. Career is the 10th house and its lord. The Vimshottari dasha already running times those topics. No dasha year is attached to Belfast as a place.

Frequently asked questions
Does vedic astrology in Belfast use Europe/Dublin?
No. Belfast is timed on Europe/London. Summer births use British Summer Time. Europe/Dublin is the wrong zone name for a birth in this city.
Does Northern Ireland skip the British summer clock change?
No. Belfast moves to British Summer Time with the Europe/London rule. That summer offset, in minutes, is applied before the Julian day.
What should the birth city be if the certificate says Belfast?
Belfast. A Dublin place name selects a different city and the Europe/Dublin zone. The British zone and the certificate city have to stay together.
